What happens in the event of a delay in repayment?

Modified on Fri, 16 Sep 2022 at 03:30 PM

We will notify you in the event of any delayed repayments, and provide relevant background on the reason for any delayed payments, which are accessible through the Portfolio page in your platform account, along with details on the risk status and recovery efforts being made. You may also reach out to your dedicated Relationship Manager at any time to enquire in more detail around specific loans. The SME borrower will be liable for late charges and additional interest applied to the outstanding amount due for the duration of delay.

Delays in repayments may occur due to various reasons including delays in receiving payments from corporate end-buyers against the invoices financed, that may be outside of the SME borrower’s control. However, we're committed to keeping in close contact with our corporate partners and SMEs to proactively address any issues with payments, and will provide ongoing updates to keep you informed.

Please note that while repayments may be delayed, the facility is not deemed to be written-off. Collections efforts are ongoing, and outstanding amounts are often recovered over time, with the respective collections and fees credited to your account pro-rated against your investment in the loan facility.
